Clownx theater company was born in May of 1999.
We have been working 10 years during which we have learned along the way, paying attention to what surrounds us and see how they could improve a little bit. After 6 productions, over 1,000 functions and spectators that made us enjoy it and respect this profession, we have reached a conclusion: The best has yet to arrive …

1999 · Ot, el Quixot

The show is an adaptation of Cervantes’ novel. It aims to explore the figure of Don Quixote from an entertainment standpoint, fresh and fun. It also wants to promote reading for children.
Released on 29 May 1999 in Igualada. In Catalan and Spanish.

Award Xarxa SGAE 1998 al millor projecte d’espectacle infantil i juvenil.

Award Cultural de la Fundació Caixa de Sabadell 1999.

2004 · Ambulants
The oral tradition of storytelling presented with a touch of humor and furious pace.
Released on 7 November 2004 in Montmeló. In Catalan and Spanish.

2006 · Action!
Street touring show which recreates the early world of cinema.
Released on 7 May 2006 in Sant Gregori, Girona.

2009 · El forn del lleó
The help craft a story with a sweet aftertaste end.

In 2000 the company becomes part of the association Teatre per a Tots els Públics (TTP) who struggle to dignify and give more recognition to the theatrical industry aimed at all ages.

With the desire to grow and improve, in 2007 became part of the association, national, TE VEO.

A trip to the beginnings of the world of the cinema. A small producer with big doses of humor embarks in one of the biggest overproductions. Four characters from different places meet to travel round the city with sole aim “to find the actors to make a film”.
